In September 2007, OOO Bentus Laboratories and All-Russian public organization “Russian Red Cross singed an Agreement

Bentus Laboratories inform their consumers that in September 2007 an Agreement was signed between the All-Russian public organization “Russian Red Cross” (“RRC”). The purpose of this Agreement is to conduct an all-Russian promotional campaign for healthy lifestyle and medical and hygienic knowledge.

 

 

In particular, the necessity of hand hygiene by healthcare professionals with the use of alcohol-based gel sanitizers Sanitelle® is promoted as the main measure to reduce the risk of hospital-acquired infections (HAIs).

 

It is planned to prepare and print a large number of informational and agitation posters, brochures, booklets, leaflets and stickers to improve the level of public health knowledge and basics of hand hygiene among healthcare professionals and patients.

 

Under the Agreement on joint activities, RRC grants to OOO Bentus Laboratories the right to use RRC name, RRC logo on printed products related to the joint medical and hygienic knowledge promotion campaign, as well as on bottles and dispensers with disinfecting hand gel Sanitelle® which are sold in retail and delivered to medical institutions for use as indicated.

 

Under the Agreement, OOO Bentus Laboratories:

  • grants bottles with disinfecting gel Sanitelle® free of charge for use in RRC’s medical centers, in RRC’s medical and social rooms, in Red Cross houses and facilities of RRC’s sanatorium “Druzhba” situated near Moscow;
  • grants bottles with disinfecting gel Sanitelle® free of charge for use by RRC’s nurses;
  • prints and distributes brochures, booklets and stickers concerning the campaign held together with RRC;
  • develops and provides maintenance of the Internet website devoted to the joint campaign;
  • remits money from each sold product unit labeled with RRC logo, to RRC’s settlement account to support statutory and program activities of RRC.
